RareByrds Word (Proverbs 22:6)

Hello Family,

This month's blog is a series called RareByrds Word. RareByrds word is a simple yet powerful lesson backed by biblical doctrine and personal experiences.

Let's jump right in, According to Proverbs 22:6, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” For instance, at 9 pm my family comes together and we pray.

We thank the Lord for the little yet major things in our lives such as breath in our lungs, clothes on our backs, and shelter.

The photo to the left is of my little Harmonee' joining us in our nightly prayer. On a night like any other, my family and I saw Proverbs 22:6 unfold right before our eyes. As we recited the Lord's Prayer, this year-old babe kneeled, closed her eyes, and put her hands together to pray.

Of course, we celebrated that moment with tears of joy, elated hearts, and thankful mouths. The word of the Lord is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and His word is unchanging.
